Adrián Vega
He began breakdancing in November of 2000. During this first stage of his career he was devoted to traveling in order to learn and participate in events at a national and international level. Participating in the “IBE”, as well as the “Freestyle Session Europe”, he eventually went on to win competitions such as “O’Marisquiño” and “Street Concept”. He has also acted as an invited judge for competitions such as “Juste Debout Spain”.
After studying psychology for two years at UNED, he focused entirely on dance, eventually going on to study contemporary dance at Varium. This important step opened him up to a world of possibilities and new interests.
He has continued studying dance through various intensive workshops such as “Deltebre” and “La Caldera Summer Stage” until he began his degree in choreography and interpretation at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. He has learned from professionals such as Anna Sanchez, Ramon Oller, Poe One, Sebastien Ramirez, Sol Pico, Lali Ayguade, Juan Carlos Lérida, Lipi Hernádez and Alexis Eupierre.
Adrian is a co-founder of Iron Skulls Co and plays an active role in the creative process of the collective, where he passionately takes part in their creations and feels excited about the journey they have taken into the performing arts.
He simultaneously works on solo projects such as “Night Dive”, where he is immersed in the research of science fiction and motion – a work that considers the metaphorical relationship between science fiction and dance, where he identifies patterns, images and concepts of this speculative genre, translating them to the language of theatrical dance.
