Mirar explores the relationship between observer and observed, questioning how the perception of the other alters and transforms our way of seeing and being in the world. A viewpoint is never neutral; meanings are woven into it, stories are projected through it, and reality is shaped by it. It is not a passive reflection but an act that creates and modifies — a continuous transformation where perception becomes an active force.
What we see is not only what lies in front of us, but also what our experiences, emotions, and context allow us to reveal.
Mirar is an act of encounter: a possibility to recognize the other or to take distance, to open pathways or raise boundaries. With every exchanged gaze, a negotiation unfolds — of belonging, connection, and the place we occupy within the social fabric. The gaze can define and enclose, but it can also liberate.
